British lady Emma Lovell killed in Australia during a break-in

A British lady has been cut to death during a break-in at her home in Australia. Emma Lovell, 41, initially from Hasketon, Suffolk, passed on after going up against gatecrashers at her home in North Lakes, Brisbane, on Boxing Day night, police said.

Her significant other Lee Lovell, 43, who was likewise wounded, portrayed his better half as the "paste to our loved ones".

She said: "She is something other than a companion, she was everything. She's more similar to her family by then. You pick your companions. We picked one another.

"She was there for me every day, even from 10,000 miles away, on the telephone, informing me. We've experienced it all together." Ms. Lofthouse said she presently couldn't seem to deal with what had occurred.

She said:
